Okay so last night I had a little break, I stopped worrying about pages and deadlines for Last Word and worked on a house. It seemed to calm my nerves at the time.
Anyways, I built a post-apocalyptic 50's style house. It has all the 'charm' I guess you could say of a 50's style house with a creepy deranged dark and disturbed twist. Call this house what you wish, post-apocalyptic, a house converted into an insane asylum, a deranged doctors house etc. I used the 'I can't believe it's not buttercup' lot in Bridgeport (which is 21x20 I believe) I used the exterior walls and windows but got rid of everything else. I don't know if I will be uploading this creation to the exchange (when and if my laptop lets me on the site) I will if I get good feedback. I will write this up like a download though.
If I do, this house can be used -with permission, please ask- for photo shoots, stories etc. NOT for REUPLOADING.

My story behind the house:
Doctor Joseph Whittaker was a well known surgeon in the early 40's known mostly for his good looks, perfect wife and children. In 1947 he earned a prestigious reward for his expert handling in the science career for creating a top-secret DNA virus. All went well until his wife suddenly died in 1950; some say Joseph went mad, others say something happened in that house the day she died. Days later people became worried about Joseph and his children as they didn't see them since that horrible day; Once their worries became public the police became involved. A week later the house was quarantined along with the entire neighborhood, records indicate it was a simple flu virus that spread. Were the reports true? Or is a cover up of something else? If so is the virus that Joseph created to blame?
No one has stepped foot in Doc-Whittaker's house since the quarantine, will your sim be the first?

This house has been play tested and is functional. Lot does not contain a stove, sims cannot sit at the breakfast nook (though you can move the chair over if you wish.) Ground cover is not required -though it makes it look much better- I airbrushed the ground to look like a dingy lot underneath.

 The bed does not contain blankets, when your sim goes to sleep the hands look a bit odd. If it bothers you, download some blankets from the sims resource or garden of shadows *blankets do not come with lot*

This lot was not built to house more than one sim, though it can be converted.
Requires Late Night, Ambitions and most likely Generations and World Adventures -I'm not too sure-
