My name is Ariel Montiego. I was born in the small town of Twinbrook, surrounded by my friends and family; surrounded by trees and fresh water. Twinbrook was as far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city as you could get. Most people would say it’s a great place to live…I hated it.
The day I turned eighteen I left the little town and headed for the bright lights of Bridgeport. Since I was a child the city life called to me, the celebrities, the clubs; everything to do with that lifestyle made me crave it. Everyone said I would never make it in Bridgeport…but I’m going to prove them all wrong.
This is my legacy.
My life starts out as a simple one, I’ve been in Bridgeport for only a week; I have no friends yet nor do I have a job.
I hope to have a job in the stylist career; it’s been my dream since I was a child. I hope to achieve that goal since I’m very ambitious.
My favorite music is roots, my favorite color is Irish Green and my favorite food is Key Lime Pie although I have no idea how to make it.
Sometimes I catch myself pondering on the future; my dreams of finding my soul mate seem to creep into my mind more and more. I could be perceived as a hopeless romantic even though I don’t think I’m hopeless…I wonder if I’ll ever find him…
My friends back home always said I was friendly; I’ve never met a single soul who I didn’t like.
But of course for every good trait there’s always the odd one out; we can’t all be perfect. My mother always said I was somewhat Neurotic, now that I’m by myself its gotten worse; checking stoves, sinks and doors constantly.
As for my other trait well…
I can be a little clumsy at times…
I live in a fairly big apartment near the stadium and I absolutely love it. Although it’s hard to get used to the city after living in a small town for 18 years I know I’ll fit in here perfectly.
