Zarina Moore

Zarina Hanely grew up in the bad part of Bridgeport with her only brother Mark and young mother Tessa. Her father was killed in the great drug war of '95; Zarina was only 5. When she was 15 and in high school her 20 year old brother bought her and her prostitute of a mother a small apartment in a slightly better area, or so they thought. Sometimes things that look nice on the outside are not what they seem to be. The move made her switch schools where she met her first friend Miranda Alamos and first boyfriend Greggory Moore. They introduced her to music that could calm her nerves by screaming what she could not. That little change in the arts made her able to show her true feelings to people by dressing differently and speaking her mind. When she was 17 and about to graduate her brother overdosed in a bar bathroom, the shock of that killed her inside; she had no idea he was doing drugs. Now 21 and living with her newlywed husband and best friend Miranda, Zarina spends most of her days quietly thinking about her long gone brother and hoping for closure.
